Roger Lim and his wife, Sam DiTusa have created a unique space in this small gastropub, nestled in the Barnes and Noble shopping center on the corner of US1 and Rt 312. They have made a concerted effort to offer hot dogs and 24 Florida craft beers that are healthy: ingredients are fresh, local, organic, and non-gmo whenever possible. When promising a healthy hot dog or sausage, Roger means that the meat used has no slaughterhouse products included, no “parts”! The meat is humanely raised, grass fed, and grass finished. Working with as many local providers as possible, Brewz N Dawgz makes their own cole slaws, chilis, and condiments and even has perfected a carrot dog for vegetarians. AND to minimize their waste products they are dedicated by recyclers.
Additionally, this is a dog- oriented hot dog venue. Monthly, Brewz N Dawgz offers a featured brewery night fund raiser, ‘Dawgz for Dogs’ charity! They support a pet rescue and donate a portion of all brewery sales to that pet rescue – their FURever friends. On Facebook and Instagram you can find pictures of these unusual charity events.
